Our Technical Committees, Sub-Committees and other groups

IFIF has three key Technical Committees

Regulatory Harmonisation

This committee makes recommendations to the Board regarding the harmonisation or equivalency of individual countries or region's regulatory schemes as they apply to the Codex Alimentarius Code of Animal Feeding Practices.

Feed Ingredient Approvals

This committee makes recommendations to the IFIF Board regarding the definitions, labeling and approval processes of feed ingredients. This Technical Committee considers the difference between countries with a positive list of feed ingredients and those without. This committee also attempt to harmonise the labeling necessary for international trade and registration of feed ingredients.
